Beauty in the mundane…
I exist to make meaningful motion graphics, videos, and photographs that bridge gaps and bring our world closer together. I love asking questions, learning, and listening to others, whether that be in the rural farms of Bangladesh, the streets of Old Havana, on an island in Lake Victoria, or in a friend’s backyard.
The morning dew on the grass, the way the sun filters through the leaves, or simply observing the rhythm of life unfold in front of your eyes, there is always beauty. I’m drawn to people’s stories and finding ways to illustrate that we are more similar than we might realize. Intentionality is essential in finding what to say and when to say it. Ask why often, and have other people ask why too.
Have a gut approach to things, but take time to think as well. Constraints precede creativity, but they can’t lead to unrealistic expectations. Life is too short to always be serious; look for the joy, look for the humor. I strive to maintain an always optimistic approach to the creative process.
